Rates
Initial fee for new clients (90 minute session for intake, assessment, set up in electronic records system) is $175; therafter:
Individual $145 per 55-minute session
Insurance
I am in network with the following insurances:
Cigna (not EAP plans)
Blue Cross Blue Shield and Carefirst plans
Medicare
Services may be covered in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
If you I am not in network with your insurance, you may have out-of-network benefits that cover a portion of the fee. Ask your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits and what it covers for therapy. I am happy to provide a form for you to submit to your insurance company to receive reimbursement.
Reduced Fee
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
Payment
I use a secure, HIPAA compliant app called IvyPay to facilitate payment. You do not need to have to have the app to participate. The app puts a credit/debit/HSA card on file and will be charged following each session. You will receive a receipt via text message.
Cancellation Policy
Sessions must be cancelled within 24 hours to not incur a cancellation fee of $50. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Please note that insurance will not cover the cost of a missed session and you will be responsible to cover the cost of the missed session at the rate set by your insurance.
